But the imperfection of marriage in our society is not sufficient reason to simply abandon it to further and more novel degradation. Instead, men and women of good faith should seek to defend marriage and restore it to its best self. This November that takes the form of voting yes on Proposition 8; perhaps someday in the future it will take the form of eliminating so-called "no-fault divorce".
