The Old Testament poses a number of problems for some Christians; it can just seem a bit crude, cruel, and even immoral at times.  This sermon explores how Jesus helps us to overcome these difficulties.

    Eugene,

    Great stuff man. Very thought provoking. I’m still chewing on a couple of parts of it, but I very much like what you’ve done here.

    I once preached through Galatians and camped out for about 60 seconds on Paul’s desire for the Judaizers to emasculate themselves. It is obvious what Paul is saying there. However, one brother took great offense and called it highly inappropriate. (I didn’t use any crude language at all. I simply pointed out the reality of what Paul was saying.)

    Again, well done.
