Beliefs

 

            The First Baptist Church of Granada Hills is first and foremost a Christian church.  We believe that through Jesus’ sinless life and vicarious death we have access to the Father.  Secondarily we are a Baptist church, affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention, committed to the doctrinal hallmarks of that tradition including the priesthood of all believers, congregational autonomy, and believer’s baptism.  For a more comprehensive description of what Baptists generally believe please see the 2000 Baptist Faith and Message.
