The Rev. Eugene Curry (Senior Pastor)

 

            Pastor Curry was raised right here in southern California in the city of El Segundo. After finishing high school he went off to Concordia University in Portland, OR where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Theological Studies. He subsequently matriculated into Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary in Mill Valley, CA where he earned a Master of Divinity. While there, Pastor Curry married his high school sweet-heart, Gianne Godfrey. Pastor Curry has ministered in churches in both Portland and San Francisco prior to coming to FBC Granada Hills.  He and his lovely wife Gianne are currently enjoying their new daughter, Charlotte, who arrived in November of 2006.

The Rev. Rodolfo Lagos (Associate Pastor)

 

            Pastor Lagos was born in Tegucigalpa, Honduras in 1961 to a Christian family that attended Iglesia Evangelica Centroamericana (Central American Mission). He accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior in November of 1969. He attended Bible classes at the Evengelical Institute, has a bachelor’s degree in Diesel Mechanics from Luis Bogran Technical Institute, in California, and studied for his Master of Arts in Pastoral Studies at Azusa Pacific University.

            He moved to California in 1985 and married Maria de los Angeles Recinos on February 14, 1988. Rodolfo & Maria have two daughters, Jennifer and Alicia, and one son, Josue.

Fanny Italia (Church Secretary)

 

            Mrs. Italia became a Christian in 1960 in her native Buenos Aires; fruit of the Southern Baptist missionary work in Argentina.  On June 2, 1974, ten years after arriving in California, Mrs. Italia became a member of the First Baptist Church of Granada Hills where she has been serving in several ministries. She assumed the position of Church Secretary in August, 2005.
